When a patient arrives at CLH with suspected stroke symptoms, our emergency department immediately connects with TMH neurologists via video conference. This allows for:
- Rapid Assessment: TMH neurologists quickly assess symptoms and guide the next steps.
- Diagnostic Support: Neurologists assist in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests like CT scans.
- Treatment Recommendations: Neurologists recommend the most effective treatment options, such as medications to dissolve blood clots.
